I created this painting at an exhibition dedicated to Elsa river that runs through the valley where I live, in Tuscany. Rather than representing the river I preferred to concentrate on the sensations that the river itself gave me: the forest, the silence, the roar of the water along the shore, the mystery. Ho creato questo dipinto in occasione di una mostra dedicata al fiume Elsa che percorre la valle in cui vivo, in Toscana. Piuttosto che rappresentare il fiume ho preferito concentrarmi sulle sensazioni che il fiume stesso mi regalava: il bosco, il silenzio, lo scrosciare delle acque lungo la riva, il mistero.
